Here's a new pic with a developing backstory. 7 sisters were separated at a young age when their mother named Mandragora (the woman in the painting), died mysteriously. They reunite 12 years later after receiving mysterious invitations to come live at the LaMenze Manor (their childhood home). They enter the home and are greeted by... a talking portrait of their mother??
It wasn't a hoax though. Mandragora's portrait reveals that her immortality was stolen from her by an 'impish vampire child' who then fatally stabbed her 12 years ago. Mandragora trapped a bit of her soul in the portrait of herself before dying, and the rest of her soul has been traversing through Hell trying to regain her life again. Mandragora says revenge will soon be at hand...
